Re: [Sun] 22 Jun 2014 (Cheetah doesn't turn down for anythin
I want to thank Head for making a spectator script that actually works (for me, at least). The old one, for whatever reason I cannot quite quantify, made me want to shut down my computer. The new one is easy to use, smooth, and a great part of F3.

[Sun] 11 Aug 2013 - Rook Valley Briefing (part 2)
I am COing the second phase of the co-ops with the assault on Chak Chak. The mission is a heliborne assault as before. It starts to the Northeast of Shukurkalay at grid square 019040. Crew assignments remain the same as per orbat, with one weapons team and squad per Mi-8. Squad leads will maintain c...

Re: Hot LZs & well-trained VCs: Helos, RPGs & doorguns
It has been my experience that drawing a clear line between metagaming and good-faith gaming is impossible in all but the most egregious of cases (which ultimately boil down to intentionally not following the rules, or cheating). Missing a seemingly minor detail in the briefing, doing something in g...

Fighting Withdrawlol I was CSL. C1 - Strang C2 - lwlooz C3 - Bodge First of all, thank you guys for being patient while I got my channel commander sorted out. As someone who is intimately familiar with the Teamspeak 3 API used for programming low-level functions of Teamspeak, I have spent very littl...

Re: [Sun] 06 Jan 2013 (Joint session: CiA & PA)
Sounds like it was awesome. FA is starting to really come into its own. 70 players is on the high end for what I feel is the "sweet spot" for A2 gaming (which is around 50 players). But that's personal preference. By the way, here's my totally legitimate excuse for missing this one: Ok, finally got ...

DCS Reinstatement - Saturdays or Sundays, but what time?
All times are in GMT! I was thinking we should get a DCS session going because I invited some people from Penny Arcade to play with us, and because I am sick of having to choose between pubbing and resuming mandatory activity on some hardcore milsim VFS. Not that those are deviant or anything. I ju...

Re: [Sun] 31 July 2011 (Joint Joint: ARPS + Tier 1)
Unfortunately I couldn't make it to the first two missions except to die in one of the helicopters. In fact we were killed so quickly that my ArmA did not even have a chance to play my death animation and explosion before booting me into spectator. I can't believe that we won Swept. I would like to ...

Re: Operation Saturn
I end up getting home from work later and later on Friday and at times unable to play until 8. So, maybe we should collectively decide on a time to play that is good for both Euro and US people.
