Re: What stops you starting or finishing a mission?

I also suffer from placement frustrations, placing units sensibly in buildings or fortification placements can kill my enthusiasm. The other thing that gets me is the editing of platoon structure and gear. For the first one, we could possibly make a mission that is just a collection of pre-made comp...

Missions: Goat Ridge Holy Stones Surfin infection A fairly low count today maxing at 24 players. We fielded a couple of squads that worked well in tandem on goat ridge and worked well at slaughtering each other in Holy stones with a bit of an afterparty. If you had a good session and would like to ...

Re: Helicopter fixation (and why it's bad)

I wasn't around for yesterday's session but I was the CO for Indfor on that goose chase run through. I have to say it was one of my worst experiences as a CO, I made a call for a 50 cal technical in our possession to open up on the chopper and the team to put fire on it. The order to cease fire was ...

  • Operation Open Invitation
  • Cratesistance
  • Down in the valley
  • Zeus defence
Up to 32 mens got into some rather intense firefights. A superbly bloody firefight and ambush in cratesistance along with vast amounts of death at night in a rather entertaining prototype.

Thoughts and reports below.

What are you saying? - Chat conduct.

Following from a concern raised by a regular to the sessions in addition a couple of instances that have been noticed over the past couple of months by hosts that may lead to people's discomfort. Obviously people feeling uncomfortable is not something that we want to happen at FA and isn't what I wa...

Re: [Sun] 20 April (Burn baby BURN)

Surfin. Bravo 1 FTL We were tasked with staying on the southern end of the formation as we were attacking the town, with MMG for company. I found a nice spot that would allow us to pop in and out of view of the town pretty easily so told MMG about this position as it allowed great views along the b...

Re: No Rangefinder? No Problem!

Also things to remember with diagonal grid squares basic geometry can be your friend. Remember the 3, 4, 5 right angled triangle. 5, 12, 13 works too. Not always relevant but can be useful at times.

What that means is that 3 East followed by 4 North is a distance of 500m as the crow flies.
