Re: [Tue] 01 Jan 2013 (Happy New Gear)

We did a test of a Kale mission at the end and some explosives training at the beginning. we also had to start foxhound twice because of incidents.

Re: Introduce yourself

Hello, I am Bodge. I started playing Arma with some outcasts from the old PCGF, having played Opflash singleplayer a lot I hadn't had anyone to play MP with so never had any really great experience with it. After we started playing custom Arma missions together in a small squad of 8 or so I was hook...

A nice player count to see in the new year meant for some good platoon level combat and a good mix of missions. Foxhound x2 - A valiant last stand from Indfor was ultimately futile as the oppressive Opfor closed in. No negotiation - Some heavy early casualties, then even more. The trees seem to have...

Re: Time zones and the like.

Hey Moloko, The sessions take place at 19:30 UK time so that would be at 11am PST or 2pm Eastern time. Those sessions tend to run for 3-4 hours depending on how stuff goes and you can come and go at any point. This means for American types the Sunday session is generally easier to get to, but if som...

Re: Arma 3: The plan

People are going to be wanting to play A3 straight away, but as Fer mentions a call about stability is needed before any official jump to A3 is made.

Re: Arma 3: The plan

Depends when they release the Editor too, if it is available in the beta that is great.

I was thinking that running a semi-official session for those who have it would be an idea and when the player counts are significant making it a regular and more concrete thing.

A low player count meant we got a lot done, tonight we played:

Force Ten
Payback
Foxhound
Cacheola
Ivory Hunt

5 decent missions, a healthy proportion of death and general carnage. Thanks for playing guys, we got through a lot tonight.

Thoughts and reports below.

And now we know why we don't use pricey hardware. Or Jip slots.

Defence in depth
Sahkeola
Ridge of the Valkyries
Recovery

After party - Outpost Bean!

Please post your thoughts and reports below. Thanks for playing and see you on Tuesday.

Re: Folk Workshops

It isn't at though slots are not available to non workshop types, we still seem to struggle to fill the command/lead slots even when having one squad from the workshop.
