Re: F3 Release A few Questions
Stamina is effected by the weight on the person. I certainly see where EBass is coming from though, hunting around in the grass for some ammo could/will result in us getting shot anyways. As for formation/positioning, personally I like how it's all set up in F2/3. I generally start either side in an...

Re: [Tue] 12 March 2013 (We died, alot)
Only stuck around for the first 2 missions as I seemed to die so soon in both I quit for the night. Clergymen A2 FTL - with Guus, Pickers and Crocuta Positioned just West of the town and the church I had the FT look predominately SE as that's where INDFOR have attacked from in previous playthroughs....

Re: What is your favorite new feature/fix in ARMA 3?
Movement/Stance all the way. Being actually able to sweep a town and fight close quarters is a MAJOR plus for me. It just makes the whole game feel smoother with all the goodness that ArmA has always had. Stratis is also a big win for me, its HUGE for a second island, imagine what Atlis is going to ...

Re: [Mission Feedback] Clergyman
I'll take a look. But the weather and time of day is chosen as a parameter though so there may not always be fog. I just like the mayhem that ensues due to the tightness. It has a 30 minute timer after all to keep thing quick and spicy! I'm all ears for constructive though, so certainly won't dismis...

Re: [Mission Feedback] Clergyman
I understand where you are coming from. I expanded the AO to the NE in the version we played Sunday so the defenders could get to the top of that slope. Only problem I see happening with expanding the AO even more to the NW, it gives the defenders the chance to defend the church from a distance, and...

Re: Arma 3: The plan
I'd imagine come 5th of March there will be many ad-hoc sessions of ArmA3 happening. As long as you are on Skype chat you'll know about it. This is really exciting though. As much as the supporters edition is tempting, I'm not sure I'd pay any extra. The future DLC is great but it also states any st...

[Mission Feedback] Clergyman
Just thought I'd put this up and see what people had to suggest if anything at all, kind of rushed version 5 so will take a little longer with v6.
Other than the stupidity of A3 FTL on NAPA being an AI and I shall add the BMP-2 into Admin at briefing for NAPA.
Post your suggestions.

Re: Hot LZs & well-trained VCs: Helos, RPGs & doorguns
The whole discussion seems to sparked around the fact what happened on that Compundit mission. I'd say what happened to the chopper was part of the game. It's as big threat as is a whole compound booby trapped by IED and then a whole squad getting blown up. So one faction got outmaneuvered by anoth...

Re: Hot LZs & well-trained VCs: Helos, RPGs & doorguns
Agree with what Mamba says, if helis can't use their own defenses then ground shouldn't be able to fire a rocket at a landing chopper. If we were able to use our guns on board, the guy with the RPG may have been shot before he managed to fire, then again he may have gotten his rocket off in time but...
