Re: [Tue] 12 May (Explozapalooza)
One of the best sessions I've had in a while, awesome fun. Ghosthawk Down - Alpha 2 FTL with Grumpy, Boberro and Sam Was really annoyed that I missed the first playthrough of this a while ago. With a now DAGRless enemy force, I was glad to get a really fun run of this (and glad one of my missions wo...

Re: [Tue] 05 May (Bareback)
Unfortunately with a sandbox game like arma this is a distinct possibility. Luckily the great days the rest of the time make up for it.It really was just one of those days...

Poor Sparks, and just when you start getting good framerates. At least it wasnt my fault the missions broke for once.

Re: fa3_c40_ghosthawkdown
Yeah, the only place I could find the right listing was on the arma3 assets page. It correctly lists the two variants.

Already got some feedback on this from the AAR, so thanks for that. Audiox recommended I add a few more slots, since sometimes we can be approaching the 40 player mark on a sunday. An attachment for Alpha (who have 2 spots in the helis free) and Bravo (who can have an MAT attachment in the truck may...

Re: Gaming rigs
Sparks how feasible would it be to do that? I have an i5 4670k, so arma runs ok, but would you actually be able to force arma to run on the second core and leave windows/ts/music on the first? It seems obvious but ive never heard of anyone doing it before.

Re: fa3_c64_to_arms
I was playing as A1 Section leader, and it definitely struck me that when you have up to 3 sections, you can probably get by with just one co element. Really the section leaders are basically squad leaders commanding 2 3-men fireteams, so having an ASL in the middle of the chain of command can be a ...

Re: fa_c40_holdtheline
Yeah it seems that might be the problem. I never really thought waypoints would be an issue. Is there something I should be doing about caching? I thought it was a F3/host thing, so I had never really thought about it. I'll have to download a couple of yours and see where I am going wrong. I presume...

using setHit on a T100 (or other MBT)
So I had a nice idea for a quick mission. FIA have to clear out a tank graveyard in a valley in the aftermath of a big NATO/CSAT/AAF armor battle. The infantry have to escort a tank crew into the AO, find a working (but heavily damaged) tank, repair it, deal with any stragglers in the AO, and maybe ...

Re: fa_c40_holdtheline
ARRRRGGGGHH. God there is nothing worse than not having missions run properly. I was seething last night. The spectator script is still broken, and I cannot for the life of me figure out why. There are no extra scripts running in this mission except ManOP (which just moves like 5 units into the Obse...
