Re: Session-Long-Efficient-Super-Hardcore-Ambitious Mission
Remember the Christmas Challenge? You might consider throwing down the gauntlet with something like a "campaign challenge." ;) The challenge criteria could be something like you provide 5 or 6 different mission begin-and-end points and mission-makers must pick one of those and adhere to it. Example:...

Re: fa3_c54_Lights_Out
Got to play v8 of this on Tuesday with a player count of 24. I definitely loosened the screws too much. The whole experience of designing, tinkering, and tweaking a mission has really been a blast. I think game design is what I was born to do. At any rate, a couple take-aways from the two game...

Re: fa3_c43_anvil
Obviously you plan to alter this and feedback is kind of limited at this point, but I would suggest that you consider adding more enemies. For some reason (positioning, probably), there was one group that was torn to pieces by enemy fire and then there was another group (of which I was a part) that ...

Re: fa3_c54_posts
Been meaning to post feedback for this and "Anvil" for a while now. I have only played the first iteration of this, so I can't speak to the alterations you made later. From a command level perspective, I can see where one would say there's a limit on strategic creativity. That said, I don't think th...

Bees For me, one hallmark of a great mission is one which has varied roles. Sure, it's the same mission every time, but simply switching your role can give you a very different experience. Such is the case with Bees. In the past I was a sniper, then a foot soldier, and now during this mission I was...

Re: [Sun] 10 Jan 2016 (Silenced mortars)
I remember Bring It On Home now! Since we played it during yesterdays session again (couldn't find it in the DB for some reason). I'll post my thoughts over in that AAR though. And the reason I don't remember Hold The Line is because I think I had to leave before it got played... :-/

Assault on Precinct 13 I was in charge of gang #3. We came at the pigs compound from the rear. We slid through buildings like a hot knife through butter. Only encountered one pig and we fried up that ham on a .45 caliber stove. Then, we died...lots. The mission was nice and I do love asymmetric PVP...

Re: fa3_c50_Lights_Out
Thanks for the input eagle. Your wish is my command! Just got back from the lab :science101: and sure enough, version 7 has MAT and a smidgen more breathing room. One thing to keep in mind is that the mission adds more enemy forces as the player numbers go up. With 41 people in the game you had the ...
