Re: [Sun] 16 March 2013 (What was that?)

BLUFOR weapons can't be fired underwater.

FWIW, if he's actually standing on the sea floor (ie switched to the walking/standing animation), I believe it's possible to fire once your gun is juuuuust above the surface..

Re: [Sun] 09 March 2014 (OOOOOOOOOOO yeaaaaaah!)

Ahaha, I love that ending, and panicked ARGHLBARGHLGRENARGHLE screams in general. :D Yeah, I was negotiating furiously with BLU but they just started giving me the cold shoulder. Right after the explosion you can hear Stoner opening up with one of the M2s, then me shooting his killer and in turn get...

Re: [Tue] 11 March 2014 (Who needs tanks anyway)

Fun session! It started off a little low in numbers but more comrade reinforcements showed up to bolster our numbers. Burn - Goose 1 pilot Despite being deprived of my trusty joystick, I decided to have a go at piloting. We were to move into the hills around Airstation MIke-26 and assault it; the LZ...

Re: fa3_c64_thrustingcrusader_v3

The layout of the mission seemed okay to me (but starting closer would be just fine) -- my main issue personally was with the performance, which was very slow for me (6FPS on my admittedly outdated PC, but I can usually hope for at least 12-15FPS on coops). Given how quickly we got wiped out, I'd im...

Re: Folk Workshops

I vote yay on all counts. Yay to everything! I particularly liked the larger-scale maneuver excercise that more closely reflected the type of movements we typically make in-session, but even the regular bounding course was a distinct improvement. Fer's instruction was as illuminating as always and i...

Re: [Sun] 09 March 2014 (OOOOOOOOOOO yeaaaaaah!)

A peculiarly short but nonetheless satisfying time was had last night. Then I sat down to play some Arma. Bay II - CSL; SuperU CO; Lord Penney(?) C1(?) FTL Thinking I'd been short-changed with one lousy fireteam, I turned out to have been generously apportioned two, at-least adequate fireteams. Our ...

Re: V+ Mod Pack Additions & Changes

I'm not super familiar with addons and maps and such, but FWIW I'd second interest in Aliabad, Clafgan (or some other good Afghan map), and if it were possible, a Vietnam map (and/or army and such?) would be *hella* radical. :3

Re: [Tue] 04 March 2014 (In these turbulent times)

Simply divine! Some superb tactiteamwork was on display and we had some great success despite our cosy numbers. Rub Out - BSL A nice little tactical dose to start things off, we approached the town of Frini from the south with Bravo on the west flank. My fireteams provided excellent feedback on what...
