Unfortunate incident aside, this rocked.
The slingloading theft under fire idea looked awesome.
I'd ask for more helos just to get in on the action on the days I'm not fast enough on the clickfest :D

In fact, I think we just proved that slingloading is within the capabilities of FA pilots and we ought to think about using the mechanism more in new missions...

What this mission demonstrates is that if you are going to write a sequential, multi-objective mission, make object #1 something that the platoon could reasonably be expected to accomplish with zero casualties if 'done right'.

I think it did right? Prior to take off we had no casualties anyway, or am I wrong?

I would say so, stealing the helos was fun and (iirc) without casualties. If the platoon can't reasonably be expected to avoid powerlines then...we need more workshops. :P

You did. IIRC we took no losses before the beginning of our ill-fated lift.
