Missions: In the midst of holiday season madness, 33 comrades stepped away from the turkey for an evening and continued our fight for a socialist agrarian utopia. Where Christmas would be banned, obviously. Thank you!

We began with an a new mission, Afghanski-style block-and-sweep in the woods Anvil. Thanks to the creative imagination of comrade Kefirz (who also CO'd), this forest fire-fight featured so many tracers that it resembled a science fiction film. I'm not saying which. We won too. So, on we went to a second new Afghanski-style mission: Posts, in which our rebel band - under the leadership of comrade CO Ferrard Carson - captured 5 hilltop security posts before massacring an enemy QRF. Third up, another new mission (can you tell this was Christmas?), this time from comrade mission maker DarkChozo. Totaled was a wonderful Hamburger Hill-style uphill attack on Camp Maxwell (Stratis), with enemy attack helicopters, helibourne QRFs and even an air-lifted MRAP. Hopefully, someone will post footage of that out-of-control attack helo smashing into a wooded hillside and exploding - which was courtesy of our 'janky triple-a' Technical crew. As was the death of our CO. Next, comrades Sparks and Kefirz faced-off in a deadly round of Inter IV, which was actually won by comrade 2600K and his collection of hand grenades. It was truly an awesome spectacle - but perhaps not as awesome as watching comrade Sparks and his passengers lift off into a set of power-lines and explode during HSLD II, which was commanded by comrade CO Mabbott for maximum hotness (it was a Party order).

So, a thank you from the Party to everyone who participated in this penultimate session of 2015. It's easy to take what we have - and each other - for granted sometimes, but if you have a second, take a moment to consider that we've been doing this for over 5-and-a-half years now. Let's hope we're still going strong come Christmas 2016, comrades!

:v:

Before my usual sign-off, please take a moment to consider purchasing one of our 2015 patches. You can buy them online from here - they cost just GBP 7 | EUR 10 | USD 10 and that includes postage to anywhere in the world. Quite apart from looking awesome, demonstrating your love of the Party, and getting you free admission at selected venues worldwide*, all funds left over after production help fund the FA server. They'll look like this (only even better), and shipping should start in the New Year:

As ever, please post your thoughts, feedback, screenshots and video here - comrade YouTube Hero SuperU didn''t just produce our video idents, but provides leadership and guidance to propaganda artists. We also have a new YouTube channel that he manages so if you have any content you think should feature then let him know and he will sort you out, for more info check out this thread!; more guidance on video editing for Folk ARPS is provided by comrade Ferrard Carson. Posts in the AAR threads really help us (the hosts and mission makers), both with understanding how we can improve the experiences, and showing potential comrades what our sessions are like.

Finally, some recommended reading for all comrades, new and old:

* Currently includes Comrade Tigershark's personal residence.

Inter IV
Got some nice footage here. This should illustrate why frag grenades are useful in adverserials.

HSLD II
High Speed Low Drag? Not so much...

In retrospect, I should have seen this as an omen of things to come...

I learned that forest battles are a lot more fun if everyone has all tracer rounds.
